Check in from 5:00pm at The Amalfi, Daylesford and settle into your home for the next few days. That evening, we’ll ease into the retreat with a relaxed night of cheese, wine, and pizzas. No formalities, no speeches—just a chance to connect, laugh, and get to know your fellow property managers before the leadership conversations begin.
(The welcome evening is part of your ticket and a great chance to connect, but if it suits you better, you can join us bright and early the next morning before our first session).

Welcome & share the concept of the retreat
10.15am to 12.00pm
We’ll open our first session by giving every attendee the floor for five minutes to tell their story and share their unique “superpower.” This is your chance to let the group know what drives you, the strengths you bring to your role, and the experiences that have shaped you as a leader. It’s not about polished presentations or perfect delivery—it’s about authenticity, connection, and learning from one another. By the end of the session, you’ll not only know everyone’s name, but you’ll also understand the incredible skills and perspectives that make this group so special.

1.00pm to 3.00pm
After sharing our stories, we’ll identify the big issues shaping our industry and form breakout groups where your superpowers are matched to the topics that need them most.
3.00pm to 3.30pm
Afternoon Tea at The Amalfi
3.30pm to 4.45pm
It’s time to gather in smaller breakout groups, where each team will blend their unique superpowers to explore a chosen key topic—ready to share their insights and ideas with the rest of the leaders on Day Two.

The first breakout group takes the floor to share their ideas, sparking an open discussion with fellow delegates.

Next, the second breakout group presents their ideas, opening the floor for more discussion, reflection, and new perspectives from the delegates.
10.30am to 11.00am
Morning Tea at The Amalfi
11.00am to 11.30am
The third breakout group takes their turn to present, adding their unique insights and inviting the delegates to explore new ideas together.
11.30am to 12.00pm
Our fourth and final breakout group steps up to share their ideas, rounding out the presentations and inviting one last rich discussion with the delegates.
12.00pm to 12.45pm
After all breakout groups have shared their insights, we’ll come together for an open, collaborative discussion—reflecting on what we’ve learned, the fresh perspectives we’ve gained, and the ideas that could truly move our industry forward. This is where connections deepen, inspiration turns into action, and our shared vision for a stronger, more innovative property management community takes shape.

Get ready for our adventure

It’s time to step away from The Amalfi and head out on a secret adventure. Where are we going? You’ll have to wait and see… but expect a change of scenery, a dash of surprise, and an experience designed to spark conversation, laughter, and fresh inspiration outside the walls of our retreat.
5.00pm to 6.30pm
Arrive back at The Amalfi and have free time until our final dinner and drinks.
6.30pm to 9.30pm
We’ll bring our retreat to a close with a relaxed evening of dinner and drinks—no schedules, no formalities, just great food, flowing conversation, and time to unwind with the incredible leaders you’ve shared this journey with. It’s the perfect chance to celebrate new connections, reflect on what we’ve learned, and toast to the future of our industry.

Why did I create this Retreat?
With over 25 years in property management, I’ve seen firsthand the power of connection, shared knowledge, and a change of scenery to spark fresh ideas. I’m Hayley Mitchell, and I created this retreat to bring passionate property managers together in a space that’s relaxed yet inspiring—where we can step away from the daily grind, share our stories, learn from each other, and walk away re-energised for the challenges and opportunities ahead. For me, it’s about creating the kind of event I wish I’d had earlier in my career—one that blends professional growth with genuine connection.
